StPaul

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is God’s steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far he removes our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:11-12 (NRSV)

Three of the tenents of Reformed Theology are:

  • The sovereignty of God
  • The Lordship of Jesus the Christ
  • Transformation of the world

The third point emphasizes the cultural mandate, or the obligation of Christians to live actively in society and work for the transformation of the world according to God’s plan. We at St. Paul take this mandate seriously and work with partners to help the poor and needful in all parts of God's creation.
