The book contains nine though-provoking sessions that explore the concept of covenant as it relates to: the Hebrew Testament, Jesus Christ, God, our UCC heritage, the wider UCC, autonomy, and more.

Books are available now from Pastor Linda. (On the round table in her office.) Please plan to read pages 11-26 by January 6th.

"Job and the Life of Faith: Wisdom for Today's World"

7 Sunday sessions (February 3rd - March 24th, 2013) - (Facilitated by Bill Whicher. Resource Cost: $18)

There was never a time when the Book of Job was not relevant, but it is especially so today. The Book of Job cuts straight to the heart of what it means to be human. It is the most profound exploration of the life of faith ever written, and wrestles with some of life's most perplexing questions.

Author, Carol M. Bechtel, contends that the real theme of Job is defining the limits of human wisdom.
