BUSINESS AND PROPERTY BOARD

ONGOING PROJECTS

  • Getting quotes to fix railing and sidewalk at back entrace near activity  center
  • Mike Williamson is in the process of replacing old light fixtures in the classrooms with new efficient florescent models. The new models offer more light and use less wattage
  • Work on the shower rooms in the Activity Center continues. Rebuilding of shower heads and adding partitions need to be completed
  • Working to complete a building use fee schedule
  • The men and ladies restrooms near Heritage Hall to be remodeled
  • Gathering bids to add gutters, repair exiisting gutters and cover soffits in aluminum
  • Repair holes in parking lot
  • Add paper recycling dumpster

ANGELES IN THE GARDEN

  • Archie and Jerry invite anyone interested in maintaining the church landscape to join them on every Thursday afternoon, weather permitting, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30. No knowledge of gardening is necessary and your help is greatly appreciated
  • Guardians' of the Garden - is a program instituted to get individuals to be responsible for certain areas of the church grounds. The program is overseen and sponsored by Angeles in the Garden. So far six (6) people have agreed to plant and maintain areas of the landscape. Many more people are needed. Please contact Alice Jerome for more information

ARCHIVES

  • Alice Jerome needs help with archives. You needn't be a "history buff" to volunteer, just a willingness to help. She is in the process of moving the office to the second floor. Please contact her for more information

HERITAGE HALL RESTORATION COMMITTEE

  • Fundraising kickoff dinner will be on Friday, July 18, 2008, at Belle-Court Manor.  PLEASE RESERVE THE DATE.  More information will be forthcoming. Alice Jerome heads this important project. Alice and the  committee members are very excited to get the project underway

MARY MARTHA MINISTRY

  • Need more members! Please join our next dinner meeting on Thursday, May 29, 2009, at 6:15 at Ruby Tuesdays in Fairview Heights. We have a good time. Contact Jean Sporleder for information

Starting May 30, 2010 the Summer Schedule will start.
There will be one worship service at 9:00 a.m.
See News and Notes for Adult Sunday School schedule
There will be no children's Sunday School during the Summer schedule
Visit Heritage Hall after the service for fellowship, coffee and donuts. 
Church service broadcast Sunday on KSTL - 690 AM at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
