***********************************FOOD PANTRY ITEMS OF THE MONTH****************************************

The number of families requesting assistance from the food pantry has increased drastically.  We are currently assisting almost 100 families per week and our stock is being depleted rapidly.  Our current shortages consist of:  applesauce, peanut butter, jelly, pancake syrup, and powdered milk.  Thank you for your response to our need for paper and plastic bags.  We are once again adequately stocked, but keep us in mind as the bags are a continuing requirement.

*******************ANOTHER APPLEBEE'S FUND RAISER---------October 25th, 8-10 a.m.*******************

The Community Interfaith Food Pantry will be selling tickets for breakfast at Applebee's on October 25, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. The price of the ticket is $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12, and includes an "all-you-can-eat" breakfast, drink of your choice, and tip. All proceeds will go to help reimburse St. Paul for construction materials used to rehab the food pantry. Tickets will be sold beginning September 28, in the Welcome Center before and after services.  The participating churches have raised $8,500 so far this year to repay St. Paul UCC.  This will be our last Applebee's fund raiser and our goal is to raise another $2,000 toward St Paul's construction costs.  We appreciate your tremendous support of our previous fund raisers.  Thank you!

********FOODS RESOURCE BANK (FRB)********

Food Resource Bank program raised enough funds to cover the expenses for the crops again this year!  With this year's rains, the crops are looking good!  Profits this year will help several villages in Zambia, Africa.  Please help celebrate this successful program on Sunday, October 26, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity UCC, Biddleborn.  A potluck brunch will follow church service.  All St. Paul members are invited to attend.
