About Betty Leppard, Parish Nurse

I have resided in the MetroEast my entire life.  Having grown up in Millstadt,  I lived in Swansea, Belleville and Fairview Heights for over 30 years and most recently in O'Fallon. After graduating from Belleville Township High School, I attended Nursing school at Belleville Junior College.  During my Nursing career, I worked at Memorial Hospital, Physicians' offices and as a visiting nurse in home health care before becoming a Parish Nurse in 2000.  I truly believe God guided me to this last rewarding service in my health care career.

On a personal note,  I was married for 29 years when my husband died in 1996.  We were blessed with a wonderful son and daughter who are both married , and have made me a doting grandmother!  I love the time I spend with my grandchildren, and also enjoy flower gardening, reading, needlework, and volunteering.  My favorite vacation time is spent relaxing on a beautiful beach or visiting family and friends.
