MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS - ST. PAUL UCC
In 2016, the church acquired a Steinway B (7 ft.) Grand Piano, to better serve the musical needs of the church and the many outside groups that use the space for concerts The Handbell Choir features a five-octave set of Schulmerich Bells, in addition to multiple octaves of Malmark Choir Chimes. Hand-held percussion equipment including a selection of Orff instruments is available to youth and adults, for study and performance. The church inventory includes a wide range of instruments to support worship in the contemporary setting; keyboards, drum sets, hand-held percussion, sound systems, microphones, and speakers are available to youth and adults, for rehearsal and performance.
The sanctuary has a 49 rank, 60 stop Schantz pipe organ which was installed in 1991 in the chancel area of the church. Prior to that, the organ and the choir had been in the balcony of the church. The tonal specifications are listed below:
